Job summary

Total Safety is seeking a Rescue Technician to join our safety-focused team. The role provides technical rescue standby for client projects, including confined space rescue and rope rescue, as well as first aid and CPR. You will assist in assessing risks, ready rescue equipment, and plan practical solutions aligned with client standards.

In case of an accident, you locate the patient, assess injuries, package for extrication, and hand over to EMS. Travel to sites up to 75% is expected.

Qualifications

• 2 years of rescue experience required.
• Certifications: Confined Space Entrant/Attendant, Healthcare Provider CPR, First Aid with AED, First Responder preferred.
• Familiar with OSHA Atmosphere Limitation and 4 Gas Monitor operation.
• Ability to inspect and maintain rescue equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical rescue standby for client projects (confined space and rope rescue).
• Assist in risk assessment, prepare rescue preplans and RSA.
• Maintain and inspect rescue equipment to ensure readiness.
• Conduct daily job briefings and monitor conditions on site.
• Render first aid/CPR and transfer to EMS when needed.
• Travel to customer sites up to 75% of the time.
