Job summary

Parent & Family Wellness Center (PFWC) is seeking a Lead Psychiatrist, Reproductive & Perinatal Mental Health to grow our reproductive psychiatry program. You will provide outpatient care for pregnant and postpartum adults and lead clinical development at the center.

The role balances direct patient care with leadership, training, and rendering-provider responsibilities for pre-licensed clinicians. Telehealth or hybrid work is possible, with Boulder in-person options.

Qualifications

• Requires physician licensed to practice medicine in Colorado.
• DEA registration to prescribe controlled substances.
• Specialized training/experience in reproductive, perinatal, and/or women’s mental health.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychotropic evaluations and ongoing care for adults across the reproductive lifespan, focusing on pregnancy/postpartum.
• Collaborate with therapists and providers for coordinated, high-quality care.
• Build and manage a direct-care caseload per availability.
• Lead and develop the reproductive and perinatal psychiatry program.
• Train and support clinicians; render-provider duties for pre-licensed staff.
• Participate in leadership meetings and program development.
• Role includes organizational-support tasks (consultation, training).
• Care may be telehealth or hybrid; in-person options in Boulder.
