Job summary

White Cap is hiring an on-site Rental Yard Associate to support our yard operations. You will remove debris, inspect and prepare rental equipment, and ensure gear is safe and ready for delivery.

The role involves lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods in a dynamic environment. Ideal candidates may have forklift experience and knowledge of construction products, with a Spanish language proficiency as a plus.

Qualifications

• Clean and maintain rental equipment and yard area.
• Inspect rental equipment for damage before it goes to the customer.
• Lift up to 50 pounds; stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Removes dirt, concrete, or other debris from rental equipment and area using provided hand tools and cleaning equipment.
• Ensures all rental equipment is in good, usable condition before it goes out to the customer.
• Inspects all rental equipment for damage and reports it according to established procedure.
• Oils and lubricates all tools, equipment and tilt-up braces according to specifications.
• Prepares and stages rental orders to go out for delivery.
• Follows company safety policy and procedures.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds in a physical environment and stand for long periods.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

A Rental Yard Associate at White Cap…

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift experience preferred.


• Knowledge of construction and industrial products.


• Spanish language proficiency.
