Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Solution Engineer to join our Solution Engineering team. The role supports multiple cloud offerings and verticals, reviewing resumes and aligning innovative technology solutions with customer needs.

Some positions may be office-based, office-flexible or remote depending on the team. You will deliver executive-level software demonstrations, build future-state customer journeys, and develop IT roadmaps while collaborating with Account Executives and Professional Services.

Qualifications

• B.S., M.S. or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering or MIS
• Knowledge of related applications, relational database and web technology
• Solid oral, written, presentation, collaboration and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team to solve technical problems in varied political environments
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience

Responsibilities

• A Solution Engineer plays a pivotal role in aligning innovative strategies to technology solutions within complex accounts.
• Interact with clients and internal teams to drive consensus on multi-product solutions across Salesforce product lines.
• Demonstrate and articulate business value through live product demonstrations and tailored proofs of concept.
• Develop and present customized demos and IT roadmaps aligned to customer objectives.
• Collaborate with Account Executives and Professional Services to deliver transformational pitches.
• Travel as needed based on territory alignment.
