Job summary

RIM Recruitment Professionals is seeking a senior Remediation and Water Treatment Engineer in Daly City, CA. The role leads complex soil and groundwater remediation and industrial wastewater design, installation, and O&M, coordinating with clients, contractors, and regulators to deliver practical, cost-effective solutions.

You will mentor internal teams, advance cross-practice collaboration, and contribute to firm-wide growth through technical capability development and high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in remediation, systems engineering or similar
• PE license in California or ability to obtain within 12 months
• Strong ability to review/edit technical reports to meet scope and quality

Responsibilities

• Lead complex soil and groundwater remediation and wastewater treatment system design, installation and O&M projects.
• Oversee multidisciplinary teams to deliver on time and on budget with high quality.
• Collaborate with clients, design/construction teams and regulators to integrate environmental considerations into redevelopment projects.
• Prepare design plans, specs, O&M manuals, pilot test plans and cost estimates; develop bid packages.
• Mentor early-career staff and provide input on workplans and deliverables.
