Job summary

RIM Recruitment Professionals seeks an Environmental Geologist in Daly City, CA for a full-time hybrid role. You will support site investigations, remediation, and stormwater compliance for industrial, commercial, and municipal clients, working with experienced teams.

The role emphasizes field work, data interpretation, and regulatory compliance, with opportunities for growth and ESOP participation within a dynamic, employee-owned firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Strong technical and mechanical skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Ability to calibrate, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain field equipment.
• Current valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Medical clearance to work on hazardous waste sites.
• Master's degree preferred; 2+ years in site investigation/remediation.
• GIT certification or ability to work toward licensing.
• OSHA HAZWOPER 40-hour training.
• Experience with ESRI ArcGIS Pro.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct field work.
• Prepare documentation and coordinate with laboratories and subcontractors.
• Collect soil, groundwater, soil vapor, and indoor air samples.
• Build, operate, monitor, and maintain remedial systems.
• Log boreholes and maintain field notes and photo logs.
• Analyze data and write reports.
• Develop conceptual site models identifying contaminant sources and exposure routes.
• Support regulatory compliance and EHS audits.
