Spencer Ogden is seeking an experienced Senior Remediation & Water Treatment Engineer for the San Francisco Bay Area. You will lead design, implementation, and operation of groundwater and soil remediation systems and related treatment infrastructure.

You will develop plans, specifications, and technical reports while supporting feasibility studies, pilot testing, and system optimization. The role involves coordinating with contractors, regulatory agencies, and clients, and offering mentorship

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Civil, Chemical, or a closely related engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant environmental engineering experience.
• Experience with groundwater remediation, soil remediation, environmental treatment systems, or industrial wastewater treatment.
• Experience developing engineering designs, technical specifications, and project documentation.
• Understanding of remediation system installation, commissioning, operations, and maintenance.
• Strong project management, technical communication, and problem-solving skills.
• California PE license or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Willingness to travel to project sites (about 20%).
• Experience with pump-and-treat systems, soil vapor extraction, or other remediation technologies.
• Experience with treatment system process design and equipment selection.
• Background in environmental consulting and regulatory coordination.
• Experience overseeing contractors and supporting construction-phase engineering.
• Ability to manage client relationships and contribute to business development.
