Hanwha Q CELLS is seeking a Reliability & Failure Analysis Team Leader in Cartersville, GA to secure long-term module reliability and prevent field issues. You will own the reliability test strategy, lab, global field test beds, and degradation research, guiding cross-functional teams to translate findings into design improvements.

You will lead the lab, manage root-cause analyses, and drive data-driven decisions across development, manufacturing, and global partners, with travel as needed.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering field (Materials, Chemical, Electrical/Electronic Eng, Physics, etc).
• Minimum 8 years in reliability engineering, failure analysis, or quality roles.
• Reliability experience with solar modules or comparable industry.
• Working knowledge of solar module reliability testing and applicable standards.
• Hands-on experience operating a failure analysis laboratory.

Mansioni

• Establish and operate the reliability test strategy for solar modules.
• Define, track, and report reliability KPIs.
• Benchmark competitor degradation and failure rates; develop response strategies.
• Verify the reliability of new technologies such as TOPCon and tandem.
• Set up and manage the failure analysis laboratory and equipment.
• Lead root cause analysis of field returns and in-house failures.
• Apply diverse failure analysis techniques to isolate mechanisms.
• Define corrective and recurrence prevention measures with responsible functions.
• Build and integrate global field test beds across climate environments.
• Monitor energy yield and environmental conditions daily; track degradation trends.
• Prepare reliability reports for management and stakeholders.
