Job summary

Ampere is seeking a Sr. Principal Reliability Engineer in Santa Clara, CA, to own reliability across the product lifecycle for high-performance CPUs.

You will lead reliability strategies, work with internal teams and external vendors, and drive post-silicon validation to meet stringent quality targets. The role requires 12+ years in semiconductor reliability, expertise in burn-in, HTOL, data-driven modeling, and strong cross-functional leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or related field; Master's or Ph.D. preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive semiconductor reliability engineering experience with burn-in and HTOL.
• Experience with manufacturing, test, and debug processes; data-driven reliability modeling.

Responsibilities

• Lead reliability authority across Ampere engineering to ensure product reliability from definition to post-silicon validation.
• Architect and implement reliability qualification plans, including burn-in hardware bring-up with vendors.
• Direct complex stress experiments, manage timelines and resources for qualification ramp.
• Partner with DFT/ATE teams to integrate reliability features and test patterns.
