Job summary

Amazon's Annapurna Labs (U.S.) Inc. in Cupertino, CA is seeking a Senior Reliability Engineer to define reliability tests in manufacturing and to drive component-level improvements for future technologies.

You will lead cross-functional teams and mentor engineers while focusing on product reliability across the lifecycle. The role requires deep knowledge of reliability statistics, testing, and hardware design for high‑tech server platforms, with collaboration across vendors and ODMs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of Reliability Engineering with server compute platforms or high-tech hardware.
• Experience with server technologies: thermal, mechanical, power, and signal integrity.
• Experience developing test strategies and plans for complex hardware/software systems.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment similar to a high-tech start-up.
• Ability to influence development teams, procurement and external partners.
• Meets/exceeds Amazon leadership principles requirements for this role.

Responsibilities

• Define reliability tests to be implemented during manufacturing.
• Drive component manufacturing process improvements to address reliability concerns.
• Perform reliability prediction of failure mechanisms for development and field products.
• Develop and execute qualification test plans for critical components.
• Monitor manufacturing quality trends and escalate issues.
• Lead failure analysis for component quality and reliability issues and field failures (>30 days).
