Job summary

Black Diamond Networks is seeking an experienced Reliability Engineer to drive end-to-end reliability for electromechanical products. You will collaborate with design, manufacturing, and service teams to ensure robust reliability plans and analyses.

You will lead DFMEA efforts, run statistical analyses, and develop reliability models to forecast performance, MTBF, and availability. Expect travel to support projects and partner activities as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field, with five+ years in reliability engineering.
• Master’s degree or reliability certification preferred.
• Experience with reliability and statistics tools required.

Responsibilities

• Understand stakeholder requirements, product specs, applications, and their relation to parts, products, and processes; lead qualification activities for product release.
• Lead failure analysis and corrective actions through successful implementation of solutions.
• Develop reliability models and perform component-level thermomechanical simulations.
• Represent reliability data in metrics and reports across teams.
