Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Professional Engineering registration is highly preferred.
  • 5+ years of relevant industrial experience in reliability engineering.
  • Knowledge of maintenance and reliability best practices.
  • Experience with root cause analysis and risk-based asset management.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as subject matter expert in Reliability.
  • Drive the adoption of maintenance and reliability best practices.
  • Design or modify asset care strategies using RCM and FMEA.
  • Collaborate with technical resources to solve equipment problems.
  • Lead equipment failure investigations using RCA and 5-Why.
  • Provide guidance to production, engineering, and maintenance teams.
  • Analyze costs and benefits of equipment options to meet reliability objectives.
  • Create or modify site procedures to stay current with industry best practices.
