South Texas Health System is seeking an RN to manage patients in an acute care setting, providing safe, patient-centered care and leading the healthcare team. The role requires current Texas RN licensure (or compact state license) with BSN preferred, and BLS; ACLS as required by the unit.

Responsibilities include coordinating care across departments and supporting staff, with potential weekend/holiday/evening/night/on-call shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Texas RN license (or compact license) is required; BSN preferred.
• BLS required; ACLS as required by unit.
• 1 year FT or 3 years PT acute care experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Manage patients admitted or seen for medical conditions or surgical procedures.
• Provide safe, competent nursing care in accordance with policies, standards and philosophy.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team and coordinate with other departments.
• Work weekends, holidays, evenings, nights, and/or on-call status as needed.
