Job summary

Cascadia Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse to supervise staff, monitor patients, and develop care plans for residents in a long-term care setting. You will administer medications, document care, and communicate with physicians to ensure safe, compliant care.

Must hold an RN license in the state of employment and have CPR certification; BSN is preferred. Six months of LTC experience is preferred, with a commitment to confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited RN program; BSN preferred.
• Current RN licensure in the state of employment; CPR certification.
• Six months of long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care to residents/patients.
• Document care and observations in the clinical record promptly.
• Communicate with resident's physician.
• Complete nursing documentation: assessments, orders, progress notes, charts, and consents.
• Administer medications as ordered and monitor responses.
• Maintain narcotic records and assist with medication management.
• Identify and report adverse drug reactions.
• Initiate emergency measures, including CPR, as needed.
• Maintain punctuality and regular attendance.
