Job summary

Helia Healthcare, LLC in Missouri is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to lead and care for residents in a fast-paced, people-centered setting. You’ll partner with LPNs and CNAs to deliver high-quality, compassionate care and ensure clinical excellence across shifts.

You’ll administer medications, document assessments, and guide the team, upholding our values of compassion, teamwork, and accountability while maintaining compliant practices and a supportive resident experience.

Qualifications

• A current, valid Illinois Registered Nurse license.
• Education and/or experience in long-term care, acute care, or geriatric nursing preferred.
• Supervisory experience is a plus!
• Strong communication skills—written, verbal, and interpersonal.
• No disqualifying criminal offenses (per regulatory guidelines).
• Ability to read and interpret journals, policies, and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Observing, assessing, documenting, and communicating changes in resident conditions.
• Administering medications and treatments.
• Transcribing and carrying out physician orders.
• Implementing and evaluating care plans for residents.
• Directing CNAs to ensure safe, respectful care.
• Rounding with CNAs to ensure everything is in order.
• Passing along information to oncoming staff for shift continuity.
• Completing assessments like admissions and pain evaluations.
• Advocating for resident comfort and pain management.
• Notifying physicians and families of significant changes in health.
