Job summary

Helia Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse to lead and support our caregiving team in a fast‑paced, resident‑centered environment. You will supervise LPNs and CNAs, ensure accurate documentation, and advocate for residents’ comfort and safety.

Responsibilities include administering medications, coordinating with physicians, and ensuring high standards of care and compliance with policies. A compassionate, collaborative approach is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Current, valid Illinois Registered Nurse license.
• Experience in long‑term care, acute care, or geriatric nursing preferred.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide LPNs and CNAs with confidence and kindness.
• Observe, assess, document, and communicate changes in resident conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Complete admissions, pain evaluations, and required documentation.
• Update the team at shift start and communicate throughout the day.
• Direct CNAs to ensure safe, respectful care per policy.
