Qualifications

• Illinois Registered Nurse license is required.
• Experience in long-term care, acute care, or geriatric nursing preferred.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret journals, policies, and regulations.
• Ability to write nursing notes, reports, and procedures clearly.
• Commitment to ongoing education and licensure CE.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide LPNs and CNAs with confidence and kindness.
• Ensure resident care is delivered according to high standards of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Receive, transcribe, and implement physician orders accurately.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate care plans for residents.
• Direct CNAs to ensure safe and respectful resident care.
• Perform shift rounds and ensure smooth handoffs with staff."
• Complete admissions, pain evaluations, and required documentation.
• Advocate for residents to remain comfortable and pain-free.
