Responsibilities

• Conducts age-specific assessment and plans of care; coordinates with physicians and health team members.
• Leads care coordination on unit; delegates activities and ensures safe, effective patient care.
• Maintains documentation of patient status, plan of care, and outcomes; contributes to discharge planning.
• Assesses pain, psychosocial status, and patient education needs; communicates changes to care team.
• Assist in applying treatments, monitoring equipment, and ensuring aseptic technique and safety.
