Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Lead Registered Dietitian to oversee nutritional services at one or more long-term care facilities in Michigan.

You will lead dietitians, assess residents' nutritional needs, and ensure adherence to regulations while delivering education to residents, families, and staff. Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, you will support recruitment, training, and scheduling, while monitoring outcomes and driving improvements in residents' health and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or Dietetics; state licensure as required.
• Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Minimum two years of long-term care dietary services experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with residents, families, and staff.
• Knowledge of applicable regulations and best practices in dietary services.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' nutritional needs and develop individualized meal plans.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Monitor and document residents' nutritional status and progress.
• Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents, families, and staff.
• Assist Director of Clinical Operations with recruiting, training, and scheduling of Registered Dietitians.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve residents' health.
• Provide coverage in multiple buildings based on company needs.
• All other duties as assigned.
