Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Lead Registered Dietitian to oversee nutritional services at one or more long-term care facilities. You will develop individualized meal plans and ensure compliance with regulations while guiding a team of dietitians and staff.

This role requires strong leadership, clinical expertise, and the ability to coordinate care across sites, with residency in the service area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field is required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of two years of experience in dietary services in a long-term care setting.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with residents, families, and staff.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in dietary services.
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and report generation.
• Must be able to read and interpret dining service cost reports and financial data.
• Residency within the service area is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' nutritional needs and develop individualized meal plans.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
• Monitor and document residents' nutritional status and progress.
• Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents, families, and staff.
• Assist Director of Clinical Operations with recruiting, training, and scheduling of Registered Dietitians
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve residents' health and well-being.
• Provide coverage in multiple buildings based on company needs.
• All other duties as assigned.
