Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Lead Registered Dietitian to oversee nutritional services at one or more long-term care facilities in Frederick, MD and surrounding areas. You will lead dietitians, ensure regulatory compliance, and tailor meal plans to residents' needs.

Qualifications

• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration and licensed in Nutrition/Dietetics as required by the state.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition/Dietetics required; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum of two years of experience in dietary services in a long-term care setting.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with residents, families, and staff.
• Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds and work around food and cleaning products.

Responsibilities

• Assess the nutritional needs of residents and develop individualized meal plans.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
• Monitor and document residents' nutritional status and progress.
• Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents, families, and staff.
• Assist Director of Clinical Operations with recruiting, training, and scheduling of Registered Dietitians.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve residents' health and well-being.
• Provide coverage in multiple buildings based on company needs.
• All other duties as assigned.
