Job summary

Tyson Foods seeks a Senior Refrigeration Supervisor to lead operation, maintenance and regulatory compliance of critical utility and refrigeration systems to ensure continuous plant operations, food safety, and product quality at our Prepared Foods facility.

You will oversee the Roundsman crew, drive safety and efficiency, and coordinate with maintenance, HACCP, USDA and plant leadership to support profitability and reliable output.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; post-high school education desirable.
• 5 years of industrial refrigeration maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain boilers, air compressors, and refrigeration equipment per USDA and safety standards.
• Supervise the Roundsman crew, directing daily operations and maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with plant safety, food safety programs, and PSM standards.
• Drive labor efficiency through workforce planning and resource utilization.
• Manage refrigeration systems to optimize temperature, yields, and product quality.
• Schedule and coordinate work for the Roundsman crew with maintenance planners.
• Verify annual equipment licenses and current operating certificates.
• Support HACCP, USDA, and regulatory compliance initiatives and document records.
