Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for refrigeration on the 3rd shift at our United States facility. The role focuses on planning and supervising cost-efficient, timely maintenance for all equipment and leading maintenance and refrigeration personnel.

You will administer the PSM program, work with contractors and engineers, troubleshoot equipment, maintain OSHA-compliant records, train on PPE and ergonomics, and coordinate schedules with the team. Travel is minimal.

Qualifications

• Education beyond high school with vocational training or college courses.
• 3+ years refrigeration experience with supervisory/lead preferred.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• This position supervises a group performing similar tasks.
• Travel: 1 to 5 trips per year.
• Work Shift: 3rd shift.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise maintenance and refrigeration personnel.
• Direct, coordinate, and support maintenance and refrigeration teams.
• Administer the PSM program and work with contractors and engineers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve new or existing equipment issues.
• Maintain records and ensure OSHA standards are followed.
• Instruct on PPE use and ergonomics improvements.
• Coordinate schedules and attendance reports; lead monthly safety meetings.
• Perform other refrigeration maintenance responsibilities as assigned.
