Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• A degree is desirable but not required; industry experience is very important.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in Industrial Refrigeration as a successful compressor rebuilder
• Knowledge of the Industrial Refrigeration Service business.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to articulate technical issues to a non-technical audience.
• Proven ability to work independently and confidently, with limited discretion, and to self-proof his/her work.
• PC literate and proficient in Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the work of technicians and mechanics, ensuring procedures and safety are followed.
• Monitor and evaluate employee performance and provide feedback.
• Train new employees and provide ongoing training.
• Develop and implement quality control procedures for all work.
• Coordinate job scheduling and manage workflow to meet deadlines.
• Assist customers with warranty issues and provide documentation.
• Manage vendor parts for compressor rebuilds and price quotes.
