Job summary

Design & Service, INC. is seeking a Field Service Leader focused on industrial refrigeration across customer sites.

You will drive safety, integrity, teamwork and excellence while guiding technicians and coordinating with the Service Coordinator to ensure timely work orders. Qualified candidates will have strong refrigeration experience, RETA credentials, OEM training, and exceptional customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Industrial refrigeration experience in complex facility service environments.
• High School Diploma and refrigeration trade certificate with RETA modules.
• Advanced OEM training for equipment start-up and service.
• Must complete safety and equipment training for RD&S services.
• Willingness to travel up to 90% locally.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Leadership ability to coach, direct performance and address issues.
• Ability to plan complex work and coordinate manpower, tooling, parts, safety, and customer needs.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of a professional work environment based on Safety, Integrity, Teamwork, Respect and Excellence.
• Assure RD&S standards are met at customer sites.
• First point of contact for technicians on technical matters.
• Supervise technicians to ensure timely, proper work orders.
• Coordinate work with the Service Coordinator.
• Oversee site preventive maintenance and proper documentation.
• Maintain customer stock/inventory for maximum system uptime.
• Develop technical capabilities of the service team with safety-focused training.
• Lead continued education through industry seminars.
• Coach and develop service technicians.
