Job summary

Simmons Prepared Foods Inc is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a technical team in our Arkansas facility. You will direct daily maintenance operations, drive cost efficiencies, and collaborate with Engineering on capital projects to advance automation.

Responsibilities include managing refrigeration functions, ensuring hazmat/PSM compliance, training staff, and promoting a culture of reliability and continuous improvement across the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years related work experience with at least 1 year leading a maintenance team
• Experience with refrigeration systems and PSM
• Ability to read and write English
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and costs

Responsibilities

• Direct daily maintenance operations, minimizing costs and optimizing efficiency
• Collaborate with Engineering & Technical Services on capital projects to elevate automation
• Manage site-wide refrigeration and ammonia systems and respond to malfunctions
• Ensure regulatory compliance related to hazmat, PSM, health & safety, and environmental standards
• Lead training and develop the maintenance team for world-class performance
• Foster teamwork, drive continuous improvement and ensure downtime reduction
