Job summary
Goodwin Tucker Group is seeking a Lead Refrigeration Install & Service Technician to lead commercial refrigeration installation projects, perform service, and troubleshoot on customer sites.
You will manage installation crews, read plans and schematics, and ensure safety and quality per project specs. The ideal candidate has strong diagnostic skills, experience with installation/startup, and a valid driver's license.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with commercial refrigeration systems.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with refrigeration installation, startup, and service.
- Ability to read electrical and refrigeration schematics.
Responsibilities
- Lead commercial refrigeration installation and replacement projects.
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain refrigeration systems and equipment.
- Read plans, schematics, and manufacturer specs.
- Lead installation crews and coordinate field activities.
- Ensure work meets project specs and safety standards.
- Commission and start up new equipment; perform preventive maintenance.
- Maintain service records and communicate with customers and team.
