Job summary

Midwest Refrigeration, a TAG Company, is seeking a Refrigeration Construction Foreman to lead commercial refrigeration projects in the Chicago area. You will supervise field crews, interpret plans, and ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to spec.

The role demands strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to coordinate with project leadership to address changes and maintain progress. Union-friendly environment with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of experience in the construction industry.
• 2+ years in a Construction Foreman or lead role.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong leadership and safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead field crews on refrigeration construction projects.
• Ensure safety and productivity on site.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and Superintendent on changes.
• Read and interpret project plans and schedules.
• Monitor progress to meet milestones and deadlines.
• Direct crews, subcontractors, and equipment as needed.
• Maintain quality and adherence to plans and specs.
