Job summary

Matrix Service, Inc. in Tucson, AZ is seeking a skilled professional to supervise refinery maintenance, turnaround or construction tasks.

You will receive direction from the General Foreman and Superintendent and ensure craft work meets safety and quality standards. The role requires at least four years of relevant experience, knowledge of craft environments, tool use, safety programs and the ability to pass required tests.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four (4) years or more of refinery maintenance/turnaround/or construction experience. Good understanding of the craft environment being supervised and knowledge of basic hand tools.
• Must be able to pass the Craft Skills Test at or above 70% or have an NCCER certification for your craft.
• Completed Matrix Service Safety training, Process Safety Management training, S.T.A.R.T. Class and Client / Site specific training; drug testing program participation required.

Responsibilities

• Work well with craft, supervision and client.
• Maintain Safety accountability.
• Assure that a high quality of work is being maintained.
• Complete daily timecards.
• Perform daily toolbox safety meeting and maintain minutes.
• Manage permits and lock out tag out procedures.
• Complete Craft Employee Evaluations.
