Job summary

Matrix Service in Washington state is seeking a Pipefitting Foreman with strong leadership to direct pipefitting crews on maintenance, turnaround, refinery, and construction projects. You will ensure safe, quality work and coordinate installation, repair, and fabrication of piping systems.

The role requires at least four years of refinery or construction experience, NCCER or journeyman status preferred, and compliance with safety training, drug testing, and background checks.

Qualifications

• Four or more years of refinery maintenance, turnaround, or construction experience.
• Knowledge of craft environment and basic hand tools.
• Must pass Craft Skills Test at 70% or NCCER certification.
• Must follow company safety training and site-specific training.
• Strong knowledge of industrial safety standards and protocols.
• Clear communication with team members, supervisors, and other departments.

Responsibilities

• Lead pipefitting crews in maintenance, turnaround, and construction activities.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and in compliance with requirements.
• Conduct toolbox safety meetings and maintain documentation.
• Manage permits, lockout/tagout procedures, and other safety requirements.
• Interpret drawings, isometrics and work packages to plan daily activities.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, tools, and equipment for project execution.
• Provide coaching and training to employees and apprentices.
