Job summary

Cyient is seeking an experienced Lead Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Lead to drive end-to-end recruitment across multiple business functions. The role partners with Hiring Managers, Delivery, Sales and HR to understand workforce requirements and close critical roles.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of hands-on talent acquisition experience, strong US recruitment expertise, and a background in technical/engineering recruitment within manufacturing/tech services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 7+ years of Hands On Talent Acquisition/Recruitment experience in engineering/tech services.
• Strong experience in US recruitment; Canada hiring exposure is a plus.
• Experience recruiting for technical and engineering positions.
• Strong sourcing using LinkedIn Recruiter, portals, referrals, and direct sourcing.
• Ability to lead and mentor recruiters while handling individual hiring requirements.
• Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Lead Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Lead

Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced Lead Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Lead to drive end-to-end recruitment across multiple business functions. The role will partner closely with Hiring Managers, Delivery, Sales and HR teams to understand workforce requirements, develop effective sourcing strategies and ensure timely closure of critical positions.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in technical/engineering recruitment in Transportation Domain ( Aerospace/Rail/Automotive) , stakeholder management, team coordination and recruiting operations, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 7+ years of Hands On Talent Acquisition/Recruitment experience, preferably within engineering, technology or professional services.
• Strong experience in US recruitment; exposure to Canada hiring is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience recruiting for technical and engineering positions.
• Strong sourcing capabilities using LinkedIn Recruiter, job portals, referrals and direct sourcing techniques.
• Ability to lead and mentor recruiters while also managing individual hiring requirements.
• Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced and deadline-driven recruitment environment.
• Good understanding of recruiting metrics, reporting and pipeline management.
• Experience with ATS/recruitment platforms such as Workday or similar systems is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Recruitment experience within Aerospace, Automotive, Manufacturing, Engineering Services or Technology industries.
• Experience hiring niche engineering skills such as Embedded Software, FPGA, Hardware, Systems, Mechanical Design, Stress, Structural, Electrical Design and related disciplines.
• Experience managing vendor/RPO recruitment partners.
• Exposure to both permanent and contract/staffing hiring models.
