Job summary

Behr Paint Company is seeking a Lead Receiving Operator to oversee receipt, transfer, and shipping of materials. You will ensure accurate inventory, coordinate deliveries from trucks and railcars, and monitor tank levels to support uninterrupted production.

Responsibilities include inspecting incoming materials, replenishing supplies, and processing inventory transactions while maintaining a clean, safe workspace. Candidates may require forklift certification, with training provided as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Lead safe and efficient handling, storage, labeling, and documentation of yard materials under the solvent recovery program to ensure compliance and sustainability.
• Forklift and reach truck experience preferred, but training and forklift certification can be provided.
• Monitor and replenish MRO inventory items to support smooth production operations.
• Ensure raw materials like labels, stickers, and box trays are stocked to keep lines running smoothly.
• Lifting products up to 75 lbs several times per day with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receipt, transfer, and shipping of materials and ensure accuracy at every step.
• Coordinate deliveries from trucks and railcars and monitor tank levels.
• Process inventory transactions to keep production running seamlessly.
• Inspect incoming materials and replenish supplies as needed.
• Respond to requests from sales, plants, and corporate offices while keeping workspace organized.
• Train team members and participate in spill response to uphold safety and efficiency.
