Behr Paint Company is seeking a Lead Receiving Operator to manage receipt, transfer, and shipping of materials with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. You will coordinate deliveries, monitor tank levels, and document inventory transactions to support daily production across the plant.

The role emphasizes forklift and reach truck handling, SAP transactions, and strict adherence to safety and documentation standards.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Lead safe and efficient handling, storage, labeling, and documentation of yard materials under the solvent recovery program to ensure compliance and sustainability.
• While previous forklift and reach truck experience is preferred, we accept candidates without prior experience who are willing and able to complete training and acquire forklift certification.
• Monitor and replenish MRO inventory items, guaranteeing that essential supplies are always available to support smooth production operations.
• Ensure raw materials such as labels, stickers, and box trays are stocked in adequate quantities to keep manufacturing lines running without interruption.
• Responsibilities involve lifting products up to 75 lbs, several times throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Oversee receipt, transfer, and shipping of raw materials and finished products with accuracy and efficiency.
• Coordinate deliveries from trucks and railcars and process inventory transactions to keep production moving.
• Inspect incoming materials, replenish supplies, and respond to requests from sales, plants, and corporate offices.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and participate in spill response as part of safety procedures.
