Cardinal Staffing Services is hiring a Lead Receiving Material Handler for an elevator and escalator manufacturing company in Holland, OH. The role leads the receiving team, ensures accurate processing of materials, and supports production operations with timely delivery of supplies.

The position requires strong leadership, stand‑up forklift experience, and familiarity with inventory systems. Overtime and a pay raise after permanent hire are included in the opportunity.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous material handling, warehouse, or receiving experience.
• Strong stand‑up forklift experience required.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and effective team guidance.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to overtime as needed.

Mansioni

• Lead and support the receiving team to ensure tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Coordinate workflow, assign tasks, and guide team members.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against PO/shipping docs.
• Store materials and organize inventory in designated locations.
• Operate stand‑up forklifts and other handling equipment.
• Maintain inventory records and participate in cycle counts.
• Use SAP or other systems to track materials and transactions.
• Investigate discrepancies and report issues to responsible personnel.
• Prepare, package, and move materials to support production/shipping.
• Maintain organized, clean, and safe receiving area.
• Support training, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the department.
