Job summary

The Boeing Company is seeking a Principal Software Engineer/Developer (Level 5) for the Phantom Works OASIS team in Berkeley, MO. You will define, develop, and lead software for real-time air/space systems in an Agile environment, collaborating across teams to integrate software and hardware components.

You will guide DevSecOps practices, ensure testability, and manage software delivery with rigorous traceability to design and test artifacts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Active Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance with U.S. Citizenship.
• 5+ years of experience with DevOps/DevSecOps.
• 5+ years of experience with configuration management for Systems, Software, and Hardware design.
• 3+ years of technical leadership in software/ground systems.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the software architecture with focus on interface clarity and maintainability.
• Translate system requirements into software requirements and models with traceability to design, code and test artifacts.
• Lead agile delivery: sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, remove impediments.
• Define software integration contracts, data models, and ICDs with teams.
• Ensure software is testable with unit, integration, SIL/HIL artifacts and observability hooks.
• Lead DevSecOps and CI/CD across dev, integration, and test environments.
• Coach engineers on agile practices, testing, and observability.
• Manage subcontractor software deliveries to meet team processes.
