Job summary

Dutch Bros Coffee seeks an Integration Lead to design and drive enterprise-scale integrations across microservices, APIs, and real-time streaming. You will define strategies, tooling, and scalable architecture in a modernizing environment.

Ideal candidates bring deep Kafka expertise, API development skills, and experience with cloud-native, containerized deployments, and data governance. This role supports hybrid work in the Greater Phoenix area with some remote days.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or 10+ years of relevant experience.
Strong API development experience (RESTful & SOAP) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
Expertise in Kafka architecture, Kafka Streams, KSQL, Schema Registry, and Kafka Connect.
Proficiency with Kubernetes for deploying and scaling integrations.
Experience with ETL/ELT tools (Talend, Informatica, Matillion, Workato, Boomi, Fivetran, MuleSoft).
Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance.
Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps, and IaC (Terraform, Helm).

Responsibilities

Design scalable integration frameworks for API-based integrations and real-time data pipelines.
Develop RESTful and SOAP APIs for system integrations with reliability in mind.
Design and optimize ETL/ELT processes ensuring efficient data flow across platforms.
Leverage cloud and microservices architectures (AWS/Azure, Kubernetes) for deployments.
Implement real-time data pipelines and event-driven architectures to ensure continuous data flow.
Enforce data governance policies for quality, security, and compliance.
