Qualifications

  • JD from an accredited law school with a minimum of 7 years of real estate experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience; Graduate Degree with 7+ years; 13 years if no degree.
  • Member in good standing of a state bar.

Responsibilities

  • Provide practical legal advice on real estate, land use, zoning, permitting, development and construction contracts.
  • Draft, review and negotiate real estate-related agreements including leases, purchase agreements, SNDAs, estoppels and easements.
  • Advise on planning and design phases, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Support construction and development activities addressing contractor relationships and disputes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on facilities management and regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee outside counsel to align with legal strategy and company objectives.
