Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Central East Texas is seeking a Lead Retail Associate in Nacogdoches, TX. You’ll lead by example, support the Store Manager, and help drive sales while keeping the store organized and customer-friendly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• At least 6 months of retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.
• Positive attitude and teamwork are important.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and stay active during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to create a friendly, organized, and mission-focused environment.
• Support Store Manager in meeting sales goals and completing store projects.
• Train, coach, and motivate Retail Associates.
• Assist with merchandising, rotation pulls, and creating eye-catching displays.
• Operate the register, handle cash, and assist customers with purchases and questions.
• Ensure the store stays clean, safe, and well-stocked.
• Help detect and prevent loss while maintaining a positive atmosphere.
