Job summary

Goodwill Central East Texas is seeking a Retail Associate in Crockett, TX for a full-time, on-site role. You’ll engage with customers, assist with donations, and help keep the sales floor organized. This position offers on-the-job training, weekly pay, and a friendly, inclusive team.

No prior retail experience is required as we provide thorough training and opportunities to grow within the mission-driven organization. Weekend availability may be required.

What You’ll Be Doing (aka “A Day in the Life”):

• Greet every customer like they just walked into your party
• Help shoppers find the perfect item (hello, hidden gems!)
• Ring up sales and handle payments at the register
• Colorize and organize clothing displays so they POP
• Keep the sales floor tidy, clean, and looking awesome
• Answer phones and direct calls with confidence
• Watch for shoplifters — protect the treasure!
• Clean fitting rooms, bathrooms, counters… the works
• Assist with restocking, sorting donations, and whatever else keeps the store running smooth

What We’re Looking For:

• Someone who’s positive, reliable, and customer-focused
• A team player who’s not afraid to jump in wherever needed
• Strong communication and people skills
• Comfortable standing, moving, lifting (up to 20 lbs), and staying active all shift
• No formal education or retail experience required — we’ll train you!
• Bonus if you love secondhand fashion, funky finds, or organizing like a pro

What to Expect
