Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Central East Texas, Inc. in Nacogdoches, TX seeks a Lead Retail Associate to lead daily store operations, supervise staff, and support sales goals.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months retail or customer service experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 20 lbs; training and advancement opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 6 months of retail or customer service experience (preferred).
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• A positive attitude and love for teamwork.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs and stay active during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to create a friendly, organized, and mission-focused environment.
• Support your Store Manager in meeting sales goals and completing store projects.
• Train, coach, and motivate Retail Associates.
• Help with merchandising, rotation pulls, and creating eye-catching displays.
• Operate the register, handle cash, and assist customers with purchases and questions.
• Ensure the store stays clean, safe, and well-stocked.
• Help detect and prevent loss, while maintaining a positive atmosphere for all.
