Job summary

S&W Ready Mix Concrete in Little River, SC is seeking an experienced Plant Supervisor to direct all ready mix operations, focusing on safety, production, and quality.

The role requires hands-on leadership of plant staff and drivers, ensuring on-time deliveries, OSHA compliance, and efficient use of the automated batching system.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma, 5 years in ready mix, CDL, and SC DOT batch certification; ACI Level I certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have thorough knowledge of the automated batch plant operation.
• Must obtain ACI Level I Field Testing Technician and SC DOT Batch Certification within one year of hire.
• Must have a valid CDL license.
• Ability to supervise hourly workforce with discretion and good judgment.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Capable of climbing conveyor belts for maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee plant employees and drivers in production and delivery.
• Ensure products meet quality and service expectations; maintain inventories.
• Schedule material deliveries to meet customer needs; ensure timely, safe deliveries.
• Maintain a safe workplace per company policies and OSHA guidelines.
• Follow environmental and safety rules and ensure reports are accurate.
