Maine Drilling & Blasting offers a Construction Superintendent Trainee (CST) program designed to lead you into management roles within the drilling and blasting industry. You will join an internal Leadership Development Program focused on building a broad skill set, knowledge, and experience for future leadership positions across our growth initiatives.
You will learn safety, drilling, procurement, budgeting, and project supervision, with a dedicated mentor and a roadmap to advancement,
Qualifications
- Recent college graduate with a degree in Construction, Engineering, Mining, or related field.
- Strong safety mindset and willingness to travel within a multi-state area.
- Proven communication and leadership potential.
Responsibilities
- Learn safety and compliance as they relate to drilling and blasting operations.
- Learn drilling in construction and quarry environments.
- Develop to become a State licensed Blaster.
- Oversee procurement and logistics for drilling and blasting activities.
- Support project profitability through QC efforts.
- Understand project budgets and standards.
- Develop project supervision and leadership skills.
