JPMorgan Chase, Chicago, IL, is seeking a Lead Software Engineer - React to join Corporate Technology. You will drive the development of high quality UI components, mentor teammates, and help deliver scalable, secure software in a fast-paced, agile environment.

The role requires 5+ years of React experience, cloud native skills, and strong testing with modern tools. You will collaborate with product and UX, work on RESTful APIs, and explore AI-assisted development practices to improve quality

Qualifications

5+ years of React UI development experience.
Experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operations.
Cloud native experience and CI/CD, security, and resiliency knowledge.
Proficient with AI-assisted development tools and responsible AI practices.
Experience collaborating with backend teams on scalable RESTful APIs.

Responsibilities

Executes creative software solutions and design with advanced problem-solving.
Drive architectural decisions for distributed systems and real-time data streaming.
Develops secure production code and reviews others' code.
Identify opportunities to automate remediation for stability.
Lead vendor and cross-team evaluation sessions on architecture.
Lead communities of practice to promote new technologies.
Collaborate with UX and product owners to translate requirements into UI.
Contribute to a culture of diversity, inclusion and respect.
Promote AI-assisted engineering practices to improve quality and speed.
