Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Sr. Lead Software Engineer within the Enterprise Technology - Cloud Financial Management Group.

You will join an agile team to enhance, build, and deliver trusted tech products in a secure, scalable way. You will guide cross-functional teams, develop secure production code, and drive architectural decisions. Ideal candidates have deep React experience, Java or Python proficiency, and experience with AI-assisted development tools, cloud-native environments, and

Qualifications

Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
Advanced front-end development with React JS, including component-driven architecture and responsive UI.
Proficiency in Java or Python.
Experience using AI-assisted development tools with guidance on their outputs.
Strong SDLC, CI/CD, application resiliency and security knowledge.
Practical cloud-native experience.
Knowledge of financial services IT environments.

Responsibilities

Provides technical guidance to business and technical teams, contractors, and vendors.
Develops secure, high-quality production code and reviews others' code.
Uses SDLC tools and AI-assisted automation to improve value and efficiency.
Drives product design decisions and maintains stable operations.
Acts as a subject matter expert in key technical areas.
Promotes engineering frameworks, tools, and best practices across the team.
Identifies opportunities to automate remediation for stability.
