Job summary

Midwest Autism & Therapy Centers is opening a new center and seeks a Lead Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to supervise and mentor a team of RBTs. You will oversee implementation of ABA plans created by BCBAs, manage limited billable hours, and ensure services are delivered with fidelity and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or related field required or preferred.
• Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor, and train behavior technicians.
• Oversee implementation of behavior intervention plans developed by BCBAs.
• Allocate up to 20 hours per week of billable time.
• Lead RBTs to cover absences and PTO as needed.
• Ensure interventions are executed with fidelity and ethics.
• Develop and maintain strong, supportive relationships with clients and families.
• Provide direct behavior therapy services tailored to each client’s goals.
• Ensure timely data documentation and reporting per policies (within 24 hours).
• Train new technicians on best practices and protocols.
• Address issues related to service delivery promptly and effectively.
• Comply with HIPAA and all applicable laws and accreditation standards.
