Job summary

RSI Logistics, recently acquired by Trinity Industries Inc., is seeking a Lead Rail Site Coordinator to provide operational leadership for process improvement, SOP governance, and cross-site coordination.

The role trains and mentors coordinators, establishes backup coverage plans, and drives initiatives to improve efficiency, service reliability, and cross-site communication.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in rail coordination operations or logistics coordination
• Bachelor's degree in logistics, transportation, or a related field OR equivalent combination of education and logistics operations experience
• Above average proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office Suite, and Transportation Management Systems
• Deep knowledge of rail industry regulations and safety standards
• Proven ability to train and mentor team members
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee coordination between multiple sites to maintain network fluidity
• Develop and maintain SOPs and ensure adherence across locations
• Train new hires and mentor coordinators on advanced processes
• Establish and maintain backup coverage plans for critical desks
• Lead strategic initiatives to improve efficiency and service reliability
• Act as liaison for cross-site communication and special projects
• Support supervisory responsibilities as needed during out of office need
