Job summary
Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Staff Systems Engineer – Radar Systems in Melbourne, FL. The role leads a multidisciplinary team to deliver requirements and artifacts on schedule and within cost, interfacing with internal and external stakeholders across modernization and sustainment efforts.
The position requires a DoD Secret or SAP clearance, experience in radar systems, and strong leadership with excellent communication skills to coordinate across IPTs and customers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 14 years of related professional/military experience, OR a Master’s in STEM with 2 years, OR a Ph.D. in STEM with 6 years.
- Ability to obtain DoD Secret or higher clearance.
- Experience developing/integrating radar systems and EVMS CAM.
Responsibilities
- Develop requirements, allocation, verification/validation planning and manage interface definition efforts.
- Write complex specifications, interface control documents, and engineering reports.
- Coordinate with program, functional and subsystem leads to verify artifacts.
- Maintain Systems Engineering artifacts with proper configuration management.
- Manage Control Accounts as CAM, delivering all team deliverables on time and within cost.
