CHAOS Industries is seeking a senior radar systems engineer to design and optimize signal processing algorithms for robust target detection, tracking, and classification. You will lead the development of new radar capabilities with minimal guidance and implement algorithms across software and hardware platforms.

The role requires deep radar knowledge, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to mentor junior engineers. Onsite in Hawthorne, CA with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related field required.
• 10+ years of radar systems experience.
• Deep understanding of radar principles and signal processing techniques.
• Strong programming skills in Python or MATLAB.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop radar signal processing algorithms for target detection, tracking, and classification.
• Lead development of new radar capabilities with minimal guidance.
• Optimize algorithms for real-time performance under resource constraints.
• Implement algorithms in software (C++, Python, MATLAB) and/or hardware (FPGAs, DSPs).
• Modeling and simulation of radar systems and sub-systems.
