Job summary

CHAOS Industries is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to advance radar algorithm development and real-time processing capabilities. You will work on cutting-edge radar signal processing for target detection and tracking, and you will lead the development of new radar features with limited guidance.

You will implement algorithms in software and hardware, optimize for speed and efficiency, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team onsite in Hawthorne, CA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related field; equivalent work experience.
• Experience with radar systems and signal processing fundamentals.
• Strong programming skills in Python, MATLAB, and C++.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop radar signal processing algorithms for detection and tracking.
• Lead development of new radar capabilities with minimal guidance.
• Optimize algorithms for real-time performance under resource constraints.
• Implement algorithms in software and hardware (FPGA/DSP) as needed.
• Analyze radar data to evaluate system performance and plan tests.
