Job summary
CHAOS Industries is seeking a senior radar systems engineer to design and develop advanced radar signal processing algorithms for target detection, tracking, and classification. You will lead radar capability development with minimal guidance and optimize performance for real-time constraints.
The role requires deep radar knowledge, strong Python/C++/MATLAB skills, and experience with RF systems; you will model, simulate, and test systems while mentoring junior engineers on onsite work in
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics or related field.
- 10+ years of radar systems experience.
- Deep understanding of radar principles, signal processing techniques, and algorithms.
- Strong programming skills in Python or MATLAB; C++ experience preferred.
- Systems Engineering experience with RF systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop advanced radar signal processing algorithms for target detection, tracking, and classification.
- Lead development of new radar capabilities with minimal guidance.
- Optimize algorithms for real-time performance and resource constraints.
- Implement algorithms in software (C++, Python, MATLAB) and/or hardware (FPGAs, DSPs).
- Model and simulate radar systems and sub-systems; plan field tests.
